Consultation & Treatment Costs

Depending on the appointment type you require, the cost of a consultation with us will vary.

Initial Consultation - £250-£300

Follow-up Consultation - £175

You will receive an invoice for this following your appointment.

Should you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of £75
for an Initial Consultation, and £25 for a Follow-up Consultation may be charged.

Following your consultation you may need certain tests (such as blood tests or imaging) to help
diagnose your condition. If the test is undertaken by the clinic or hospital, and not by us,
the fees for those tests will be determined by the clinic or hospital and charged to you,
or your private medical insurer, separately.

If there are additional fees as a result of additional procedures carried out by us,
such as cervical smears, ring pessary insertion, biopsies etc, then we will let you know
what the additional charge will be. Your insurer usually covers these fees.
If you are self-funding, please inform us in advance.

Costs are subject to change - please call to confirm.

All self-funding patients will receive an invoice following their consultation from our Office;
our invoices can be settled via BACS or Cheque.
Please note that there may be separate invoices for additional tests directly from the hospital.

If you require any surgery or outpatient procedure, you will be provided with a price package by the relevant hospital upon request. This includes fees for the surgeon, anaesthetist, hospital facilities and one post-operative follow-up consultation.

Some hospitals do offer a finance plan if required.

If you have private medical insurance, please contact your insurer before your consultation, to check the terms of your policy, particularly the level and type of outpatient cover you have, including any reimbursement limits on individual consultation fees.

We would also request you ask for a pre-authorisation number (if applicable) to bring with you and inform the Reception/Check-In desk on your arrival. You usually need a GP referral letter for insurance purposes although some insurance companies no longer require it - please check with your insurer.
